Alheckz began crafting artisan keycaps in 2022, inspired by the anticipation of meeting several friends from the keyboard hobby in person for the first time. Wanting to create something meaningful to gift them, he ventured into keycap making. His work primarily focuses on Cherry R4 profile keycaps—a choice driven by his own preference and the lack of dedicated artisans specializing in that profile. Alheckz hopes to carry on the DIY spirit of the artisan hobby, maintaining a lighthearted approach to ensure his time in the hobby remains enjoyable.
